Public Engagement Screening + Panel Discussion

Over 150 people attended this special evening in Ottawa; one that celebrated Islamic Heritage Month, honoured youth and diversity and held space for an honest discussion about combatting Islamophobia.

Thank you to our Impact Partners; to our skilled moderator CBC's Adrian Harewood; to our guest performer JustJamaal ThePoet; to our amazing panelists:  Suheyma Duale - Student Change-Maker,  Amira Elghawaby - Journalist, Human Rights Advocate, and Krista McNamara - Principal, Nepean High School. 

We are very grateful also to the crew and participants from the film who came to be acknowledged and answer audience questions. It was an inspiring and informative evening for all!
